Division of Gynecologic Oncology

SLU Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women's Health offers a full range of gynecological oncology services.  The GYN Oncologists of SLUCare provide innovative and advanced medical and surgical treatment for patients with both premalignant and malignant gynecological conditions including:

•    Preinvasive Cervical Disease
•    Cervical Cancer
•    Uterine Cancer
•    Ovarian Cancer
•    Vulva Cancer
•    Vaginal Cancer

The physicians work closely with a multidisciplinary team of GYN pathologists, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists and specialty trained oncology nurses.  They work closely with referring physicians to provide personalized treatment plans to meet the individual patient needs.  With this in mind, they have three office locations to serve the greater St. Louis, Missouri and Southern Illinois area.  The Board Certified GYN Oncologists utilize leading edge care to patients through the use of advanced laparoscopic surgery and robotic surgery as appropriate.  They are highly conversant with the latest chemotherapeutic option including intraperitoneal chemotherapy.

For those patients who possibly have hereditary cancer diagnoses, they have access to genetic counselors that can help patients and their families understand the risks of their condition and possible risk reduction techniques.

As full time professors of Saint Louis University School of Medicine, our Oncologists also participate actively in the teaching of medical students, residents and visiting fellows.  However, most of all it is the compassionate care provided by the physicians and nurses that set the Division of GYN Oncology at Saint Louis University apart.
