M. Brigid Holloran-Schwartz, M.D.

Dr. Schwartz has been in practice at Saint Louis University School of Medicine since 2000.  After completing residency, she recieved 4 years of advanced training in minimally invasive surgery.  For the past 6 years, she has dedicated her practice completely to practicing Minimally Invasive Surgery and general gynecology.  She has completed well over a thousand advanced laparoscopic cases.  She currently serves as Director for Saint Louis University's Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women's Health Center of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, (MIGS).  As a section, there mission is to offer Minimally Invasive options to patients with even the most complex pathology to decrease patient postoperative pain and recovery time.

Clinical Research Trials

Primary Investigator:  A twenty-four week, randomized, double-blind placebo-controlled, safety and efficacy trial of flibanserin 25 milligrams twice daily and 50 milligrams one and twice daily in premenopausal women with hypoactive sexual desire disorder in North America. 511.70

Primary Investigator:  Clinical study validating the adequacy, efficacy and safety of the e2TM cervical cell collector compare to standard spatula/cytobrush technique in patients with recent history of abnormal pap test returning for colposcopy/ biopsy.
