Research Interests
I welcome graduate students who wish to focus on Victorian literature, including poems, novels, essays, lifewriting, plays, and/or opera, as well as the interdisciplinary study of music and literature. My own work explores literature and music history in Victorian Britain as mutually constitutive with a range of nineteenth-century discourses.
