First-year Law Students
First-year law students at Saint Louis University are registered by the Registrar’s office for all first-year core curriculum courses. Your schedule for the fall semester should be available in mid-July. For more information regarding your schedule or other orientation activities, please see the Admitted Student webpage.
Under no circumstances can a first-year full-time or part-time student utilize the drop/add feature in Banner to change a first-year core curriculum course. In extraordinary circumstances, a first-year core curriculum course may be changed at the discretion of the Dean of Students.
Upper-Level Law Students
Upper-level law students register via the University’s online registration system, Banner Self-Service. Registration for the summer and fall semesters usually occurs in late March/early April, and registration for the spring semester usually occurs in November. Registration occurs first through a priority system and second, through open registration.
It is the student’s responsibility to view and verify registration. If students believe they should be registered in a course but aren’t, they should contact the Registrar’s Office immediately.
