Throughout SLU LAW's 175 years of history, our students, alumni, faculty and staff have been characterized by their aspiration to excellence. The combination of that excellence and our social justice mission has produced a rich tradition of community and public service, which has left an indelible mark on this city and indeed on the world.

This issue showcases more distinguished alumni than any issue in recent memory, highlighting their perspective as lawyers, judges and scholars pursuing "higher purpose, greater good" every day.
