Research Interests
Marquard's current research interests center around early childhood wellness and development. Particularly in the ways that play can improve social-emotional wellbeing and learning across childhood. Marquard is also interested in how the social determinants of health, and ACEs impact the social-emotional wellbeing of the young child. Finally, the experiences of health care and wellbeing of immigrant and refugee children and families are interests.
