12/10/24- Feeling his success should be shared by giving back to students educated in their chosen field, ethics and the Jesuit tradition of service to others, Patrick P. Lee (PC ’59) established a scholarship at Saint Louis University.

09/16/24- Fifty years after she graduated at the top of her class from Saint Louis University School of Medicine, Virginia "Ginny" Herrmann’s legacy will continue to inspire new ways of serving others.
09/16/24- Saint Louis University has announced a historic donation to the University’s School of Education from physician and alumna Virginia (Ginny) Herrmann, M.D. The $7.3 million gift will establish the Herrmann Center for Innovative Catholic Education, and support education programs and underserved students throughout the St. Louis region.
08/16/24- Throughout his 33-year career as a clinical oncology researcher and professor, Geoffrey Weiss, M.D. (SOM ’74), identified two key factors that shaped his life’s work: His Saint Louis University School of Medicine education and the funding he received early in his training.

01/09/24- A recent $25,000 President’s Grant from the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation to SLU’s Transgender Health Collaborative will support the University's Interprofessional Transgender Health Education Day (ITHED).
12/05/23- Thanks to one of Wendel’s former students, Robert Steck (A&S ‘79), the esteemed professor’s legacy will pave a new path for urban affairs to flourish through an endowed scholarship benefiting political science students at the College of Arts and Sciences.
10/08/23- The $20 million center was privately funded with a lead gift by the O'Loughlin Family Foundation. Adjacent to Chaifetz Arena, the center will provide support services for the University's 400-plus Billiken student-athletes under one roof.
09/18/23- The gift of a new studio grand piano brings Saint Louis University closer to its goal of becoming an "All Steinway School."
03/15/22- faculty members are “absolutely thrilled” about a recent gift to the University — a collection of 850 newspapers dating from 1683 to 2020.
