You can accept or decline your Saint Louis University financial aid awards at by logging into MySLU and navigating to Banner Self-Service. There, you can accept or decline the individual components that make up your financial aid award.
- Log into the MySLU portal using your SLUNet ID and password.
- Trouble logging in? You may be locked out of your account, your password has expired or you have the wrong username or password. Contact SLU IT at 314-977-4000 for assistance. You will need your SLUnet ID, Banner ID, date of birth, home address and last four digits of your social security to verify identity.
- In the My Apps section, navigate to Banner Self-Service.
- Under Student Financial Information, click on the Financial Aid Dashboard.
- Click Offer from the top menu.
- Ensure that the appropriate award year is selected from the dropdown menu.
- Summer awards are considered part of the previous aid year (example: Summer 2024 is part of the 2023-2024 aid year.)
- Review your financial aid offer in its entirety. Make sure to scroll all the way through and accept, decline, or modify each award, where indicated:
- To accept the full amount of the award, select Accept from the dropdown next to the award.
- To accept a partial amount of an award, select Modify from the dropdown next to the award, type in the amount you wish to accept, and click OK.
- To decline an award, select Decline from the dropdown next to the award.
- Once you have made a decision for all awards, click Submit.
- Check the box to acknowledge the terms and conditions and click Accept Award. You will need to submit your acknowledgment twice.
- If you accept a student loan as part of your financial aid award and are a new student borrower, you will also need to complete Loan Entrance Counseling and a Master Promissory Note.
