The Dean of Students Office is here to enhance the quality of student life at Saint Louis University.
We hope students will take advantage of their time at SLU by participating in opportunities that challenge, inspire, and expand their worldview through connections with faculty, staff, student peers, and the surrounding St. Louis community. We are committed to SLU's aim to pursue truth for the greater glory of God and for the service of humanity, and we expect students to be active partners in their educational journeys.
Every student is encouraged to take advantage of the multiple opportunities for leadership development, volunteer service, student engagement and multicultural activities offered at Saint Louis University. We aim to facilitate the creation of a caring, respectful, and productive community of student learners and leaders. We encourage students to reach beyond their grasp and to develop their full potential.
We are also concerned about moral, ethical and spiritual development, and believe students can live up to a very high standard of personal behavior that will respect the community standards inherent to a Catholic, Jesuit institution. We want students to learn to make wise and responsible decisions based upon personal reflection and communication with peers and mentors.
The world needs leaders for a just and humane world. The Dean of Students Office helps students develop the skills and qualities that will allow them to provide this leadership.
We invite you to drop by the office, BSC 356, to say "hello" and share the highlights of your SLU experience, seek advice or present any concerns. Best wishes for a wonderful year.
